Cayo Levantado

Located off the coast of Samana in the Dominican Republic, the spectacular island of Cayo Levantado offers one of the most incredible beaches in the world. Accessible only by boat, this little paradise maintains a less crowded environment, providing a more intimate experience compared to the busier mainland beaches. Often referred to as Bacardi Island due to its appearance in a famous rum commercial, it boasts jaw-dropping turquoise waters and soft sands, with ample shade from gorgeous palm trees scattered across the beach. In addition to exceptional swimming conditions, the Samana area is also renowned for its whale-watching opportunities, particularly during the migration season from January to March.
